Ahead of India's Asia Cup 2025 final against Pakistan, Tilak talks about his dedication to fitness, revealing that he loves running, whether it's on the field during intense training sessions or off the field as part of his routine.
Ahead of India's dead-rubber clash against Sri Lanka in the third Super Four clash, Varma credits Kohli's unmatched discipline and work ethic, who set the fitness standards, and he wants to maintain that.

"Yeah, I do love doing a lot of fitness because I have been inspired by Virat Bhai So he has set the standards, and I just want to maintain that, and I always love to run on the field or off the field as well. I do spend a lot of time in the gym, yeah, so that's very easy to see," said Tilak Varma

Tilak Varma is currently in the purple patch of his career. He is currently the fifth-highest run-getter in the Asia Cup 2025, scoring 144 runs in five innings with a highest score of unbeaten 49 against Sri Lanka in India's third Super Four clash. Notably, India's Abhishek Sharma is the highest run-getter of the tournament, smashing 309 runs in six outings, including three half-centuries.
