The Indian cricket team is practicing hard for Asia Cup 2025 in Dubai. The Men in Blue come into the tournament as the favourites and they are set to commence their campaign on September 10. With the competition right around the corner, India's sponsorless jerseys have been spotted for the first time.
This comes after the side's previous sponsor, Dream11 recently pulled out of its contract with the Indian team following the implementation of the Online Gaming Act 2025. The company that had a valuation of 8 billion dollars, pulled out of the deal with a year remaining on their contract.
As they pulled out just weeks before the commencement of Asia Cup, BCCI didn't have enough time to decide a new sponsor for the Indian team before the tournament. This means that the Men in Blue will be wearing sponsorless jerseys during the competition.

BCCI to soon decide India's next sponsor
Meanwhile, BCCI will now need to decide the Indian team's new sponsor. Additionally, The Indian cricket board also stated that companies applying for sponsorship rights must have a minimum yearly turnover of INR 300 crore.
On the other hand, India will begin their Asia Cup campaign with the clash against UAE on September 10 before locking horns against arch-rivals Pakistan on September 14. Their group stage will come to a conclusion with the match against Oman on Seotember 19.
