Coming back to the match, the UAE scored a competitive 172 runs total against Oman for the loss of five wickets in their 20 overs. Waseem was the highest run-getter with 69 runs and Alishan Sharafu also smashed an aggressive half-century. The UAE, who already lost its tournament opener against India, need to win this clash at any cost to stay in the race for the Super Four of the mega event. If the UAE beat Oman today, then their game against Pakistan will be a knockout encounter. On the other hand, Oman are also coming after losing their tournament opener against Pakistan.
