Kanpur's Green Park Stadium was under the heavy impact of bad weather and rain for three continuous days and just when everyone thought the 2nd Test between the Indian cricket team and Bangladesh side would be heading towards a draw, Rohit Sharma and company put it on the backseat and displayed a firework-filled show. The hosts first bowled out the visitors on just 233 runs and then played a really aggressive innings and scored a quickfire 285-9 and gained a 52-run lead before the Indian captain decided to declare the innings.
Indian batters shatter all records
The way Indian batters were batting it was clear that they were not eyeing a draw they wanted a win and were eyeing to whitewash Bangladesh 2-0. They not only scored the fastest team fifty in Test cricket but also went on and scored the fastest 100, fastest 150, fastest 200, and fastest 250 by a team in Test cricket.

On the fourth day of the second Test match between India and Bangladesh here on Monday, India declared their first innings at 285 for nine thanks to strong fifties from KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal. India is now 52 runs ahead. Bangladesh was earlier bowled out for 233 in their opening innings. Rahul (68 off 43 balls) and Jaiswal (72 off 52 balls) drove India's innings with aggressive blows. Virat Kohli scored a brilliant 47 runs in 35 balls. Along with off-spinner Mehidy Hasan Miraz (4/41) and seasoned left-arm spinner Shakib Al Hasan (4/78) for Bangladesh, four wickets were taken.
