Bangladesh tour of South Africa 2022

South Africa have expectedly left out the IPL-bound players from their 15-man Test squad for the two-match home series against Bangladesh starting March 31. South Africa will be without their entire first-choice pace attack comprising Kagiso Rabada, Lungi Ngidi and Marco Jansen as well as batters Aiden Markram and Rassie van der Dussen as they chose the IPL over the Test series.

Bangladesh’s Khaled Ahmed has been fined 15 per cent of his match fees for breaching Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct during Day two of the second Test against South Africa at St George’s Park in Gqeberha.

And the reason behind it is the presence of another left-arm spinner and all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan despite Taijul's success as subcontinent spinner. After his impressive performance with the bowl in an interview session, Taijul was questioned about how he intends to fill the void left by Shakib’s absence in the side. The question didn't go down well with the spinner as Taijul was seen irritated while answering the needless question.
