Champions Trophy 2025 is underway but all eyes are on the 'Mother of all clashes' India versus Pakistan which is scheduled to be played on Sunday, February 23 at the Dubai International stadium. Whether it's hockey, football, or any other athletic competition, the hype around India versus Pakistan clash hits the ceiling when it comes to cricket. India vs Pakistan's head-to-head in Champions Trophy

Historically, Pakistan hold a stronger record against India in the Champions Trophy. Of the five encounters between the two teams in the tournament, Pakistan have emerged victorious in three, including a memorable win in the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy Final. 2017 Champions Trophy title triumph against India was special for Pakistan because the Men in Green had lost to Men in Blue earlier in the group stage of the same tournament, making their title triumph even more impressive.

India and Pakistan have locked horns with each other in ODIs 28 times in UAE in which Men in Green have emerged winners 19 times while Men in Blue clinched the issue on nine occasions.

The first ODI between India and Pakistan took place in 1978. Since then, the arch-rivals have faced each other in ODIs on 135 occasions.

As of now, Pakistan have an edge over India in the head-to-head record in overall ODIs, having won 73 of these matches compared to India's 57. Five matches between the two teams have ended without a result.
