India star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja beat captain Rohit Sharma in the contention for 'Impact Fielder' Award to clinch dressing room's best fielder medal after the Men in Blue defeated New Zealand by four wickets to win the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Jadeja remained unbeaten alongside KL Rahul that helped Rohit Sharma-led side to clinch their second consecutive ICC title.
Jadeja bowled 10 overs in the final and conceded 30 runs picking up a wicket. While batting he joined KL Rahul after Hardik Pandya's wicket and remained unbeaten on nine runs.
BCCI shared the video where India fielding coach T. Dilip lauded the team after their Champions Trophy 2025 win. Here is the clip.
"I think if you really look at the whole tournament, there is one takeaway. I feel it is this. That no effort on the field was ever too small. Why I say is because every single commitment on the field was fueling a common goal. And tonight, the goal is right in front of us. We are champions! Yeah!" said T Dilip.
Fielding is two sides of same coin. One side we always talk about intensity, aggression, attitude, reflexes. On the other side, we always speak about camaraderie, the trust, the brotherhood between each other. And together, that's what we displayed throughout this tournament as brothers and as well as intensity wise. Well done, guys. Power.

Apart from Ravindra Jadeja, India captain Rohit Sharma was also a contender for the fielding medal. Indian skipper was also awarded Player of the Match for his 76 run knock against the blackcaps.
"Let's get to contenders. I think he's been showing top stuff today in his own bowling, but the way he chased the ball today, getting that bullet throws and also cutting those angles. Ravindra Jadeja. Goal!. I think last time when we spoke about skill and will, I think someone who really displays all the time when he is on the field. This was India's second consecutive ICC title, the Men in Blue recently won the T20 World Cup in 2024 in Barbados, defeating South Africa in the final. After India's Champions Trophy 2025 win, India becomes the only team that has won the title three times.
