ODI World Cup 2025 finalists are India and South Africa.

India defeated Australia in the Women's ODI World Cup 2025 semifinal.

Harmanpreet Kaur-led India are facing South Africa in the ICC Women's ODI World Cup 2025 final on November 02 at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. If India managed to get silverware in Mumbai, then two Surat-based diamond tycoons industrialists Govind Dholakia and Jayantibhai Narola and owners of Shree Ramkrishna (SRK) Exports, announced that every ricketer will be rewarded with natural diamond jewellery and rooftop solar panels as gifts.

Notably, both finalists, India and South Africa, sealed their berths for the title decider after defeating Australia and England, respectively, and this will be the maiden World Cup win for both sides.

“As our Indian women’s cricket team enters the ICC Women’s World Cup final, my heart swells with pride. These women have won the hearts of billions with their strength and spirit,” Dholakia's statement read.

The Surat-based industrialists said that this is an initiative to boost the morale of the players and honour their journey of determination and excellence. Dholakia formally conveyed this promise to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) through an official letter.

India vs South Africa World Cup final

Coming back to the clash, Shafali Varma smashed 87 off 78 balls, her first half-century in more than three years, as India scored 172 for three in 30 overs against South Africa in the Women's World Cup final

After conceding 29 runs in her first three powerplay overs, Ayabonga Khaka took two wickets in successive overs, removing Shafali and then Jemimah Rodrigues (24) to shift the momentum of the game.

Shafali, who came into the squad before the semifinal as Pratika Rawal's injury replacement, completed her fifty-run mark on 49 balls and was dropped on 56. She eventually fell to Ayabonga Khaka after a blistering knock laced with seven fours and two sixes.

With vice-captain Smriti Mandhana, she added 104 for the opening wicket to give India a flying start. The 50-overs match began two hours late due to a wet outfield, but no overs were lost.
