The previous record belong to former left-arm spinner Gouher Sultana who conceded 72 runs against Sri Lanka in the 2013 edition of World Cup. However, not just Rana but pacer Kranti Gaud surpassed Sultana as well. Gaud conceded 73 runs from nine overs.
However, Rana's spell is the most expensive for a spinner in Women's ODI World Cup history. Pakistan's left-arm spinner Nashra Sandhu conceded 82 runs from 10 overs against England in 2017 edition.
