Top 5 run-scorers in Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, 3 Indian batters on list
IND vs AUS: There were only seven centuries scored in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 on Australian soil.

Batting wasn't easy on the bowling-friendly wickets in Australia. Pacers reigned supreme. Here is the list of top five run-scorers in the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25.

5. KL Rahul who batted in the top-order scored 276 runs from 10 innings at an average of 30.66. Rahul scored two half-centuries and his high score was 84.

4. Young all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy was handy with his cameos down the order before the century at the MCG. Reddy has scored 298 runs from 9 innings at an average of 37.25. He had a few scores in 40s in the series.

3. Steve Smith shrugged off poor form with two centuries. He did not score a fifty in the series. He scored 314 runs from 9 inninsg at an average of 34.88.

2. Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 391 runs from 10 innings at an average of 43.44. Jaiswal scored 161 in Perth Test, the highest score by a batter in the series. He scored one century and two half-centuries.

1. Travis Head scored 448 runs from 9 innings at an average of 56. Head scored two centuries and one fifty in the series. His strike rate was a stupendous 92.56, the highest by any batter in the series.

Meanwhile, India's star duo Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma failed to make a mark. Kohli scored one century from innings. He scored 190 runs at an average of 23.75. Rohit had a horrendous run as he scored 31 runs from 5 innings.
