England’s young batting all-rounder Jacob Bethell gained seven places and stormed into top 10 after a match-winning half-century against India in the second T20I. Bethell took the eighth place, just below his veteran teammate Jos Buttler.
SKY, Dube, Samson slip
India's T20 World Cup 2026-winning captain Suryakumar Yadav's absence has led to him slipping five places to 13th. England T20I captain Harry Brook gained one place to take 19th position. Shivam Dube has slipped one place to 28th. Meanwhile, benched Sanju Samson has lost three places to 29th position. Samson failed to score in double digits in two-T20I series against Ireland and the series opener against England.
Changes in bowlers’ rankings
Among bowlers, India's mystery spinner Varun Chakaravarthy lost two places to fifth. It led to England's Adil Rashid and Australia's Adam Zampa moving to third and fourth place respectively.

Rested for the T20I series on UK tour, Jasprit Bumrah has lost two places to eighth. It resulted it Australia pacer Nathan Ellis and South Africa pace-bowling all-rounder Corbin Bosch moving to sixth and seventh places respectively. India's left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh lost two spots as well. He know occupies with 18th spot.
Dube not among top 10 all-rounders anymore
Dube has taken a huge hit in the all-rounder rankings. He slipped out of top 10. After taking a four-place hit, he took the 11th spot. England's Will Jacks and Sam Curran gained six places each to take the seventh and 13th position respectively. There was a change in top three as well. Injured Hardik Pandya moved down from second to third. His place has been taken by Pakistan's Saim Ayub.
More changes expected during T20I series
The Indian top order has not been consistent. Top-ranked Ishan Kishan has not been in the best of forms and may lose his no.1 position if the slump continues. There are two more games in the T20I series which in which India are yet to win a game. Then, India will tour Zimbabwe for a three-T20I series later this month.
