Vaibhav Sooryavanshi to make international debut in 2nd T20I vs England?

In his Instagram story, Vaibhav shared a picture of him donning the India jersey, where he wrote "New chapter" in the caption. Sooryavanshi's caption sparked the speculation that he finally could make his international debut for India after dropping a record-breaking campaign in the IPL 2026 while representing Rajasthan Royals (RR).

After enjoying great success in IPL, Vaibhav received his maiden India call-up for the tour of Ireland and England. However, the star left-handed batter was benched for the two T20I games against Ireland, where India lost the series by 2-0. After a disastrous performance against Ireland, fans aggressively called for Sooryavanshi's debut, as Sanju Samson endured another bad outing in the first T20I against England, where he managed to amass only one run in the first T20I clash.

It will be interesting to see if Vaibhav can make his senior India debut in the second T20I against England, which will take place on Saturday, July 4 at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Stretford.
