Highlights:

KKR have lost just one match out of four games.

KKR are yet to beat LSG in three outings.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and opted to field first at Eden Gardens, Kolkata against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Iyer did not make any changes but is set to use Rinku Singh as impact player and replace Harshit Rana.

“We'll bowl first. Feels nostalgic, the crowd is electrifying and this was what we missed playing out of Kolkata, great feeling to be back. I've no idea about the conditions, the last game was a belter, but we're professionals and will have to adapt. Bowling first, so Rinku goes out, Harshit Rana comes in,” Iyer said after winning the toss.

LSG captain KL Rahul made two changes to the side. West Indies' Gabba hero Shamar Joseph replaced Afghanistan pacer Naveen-ul-Haq in the side. Devdutt Padikkal was dropped as well to make way for Deepak Hooda. Also, fit-again left-arm pacer Mohsin Khan will walk into the side as their impact player.

“I would have bowled first, but this does look like a good pitch. It was important to recover ona short turnover, it's just about making sure that everyone is rested and recovered well. Few changes - Padikkal and Naveen-ul-Haq miss out, Shamar Joseph and Deepak Hooda are back. Mohsin Khan is back as well,” Rahul said at the coin toss.
