MI will take on RCB in their opening match on March 24 in Ahmedabad.

The 17th season of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 will begin with defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) facing Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on March 22.

 

Hardik Pandya-led Mumbai Indians (MI) will kick off their campaign against Gujarat Titans (GT) on March 24 in Ahmedabad. MI’s second match is scheduled against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on March 27, followed by a clash with Rajasthan Royals (RR) on April 1. Their fourth and final match of the initial phase of IPL 2024 will be against Delhi Capitals (DC) on April 7 in Hyderabad.

The five-time IPL champions MI team are gearing up for IPL 2024 with an eye on adding another title under new captain Pandya. He replaced Rohit Sharma as MI’s captain after the trade. Now, Rohit will play under Pandya’s leadership in IPL 2024.

 

Under the leadership of Rohit, team MI bagged the title in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2020.
