Vaibhav Suryavanshi's stunning hundred helped Rajasthan Royals to register an eight-wicket dominating win against Gujarat Titans (GT) at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur to keep their playoff hopes alive in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. With this win of the season, RR moved to eighth in the points table.
On the other hand, the eight-wicket defeat against the inaugural champions denied Gujarat Titans a chance to claim top spot in the standings. The magnitude of the defeat meant it dropped from second to third, with the Mumbai Indians climbing to second. On Sunday, Royal Challengers Bengaluru moved to the top of the points table after its six-wicket victory over Delhi Capitals.
The Rajat Patidar-led side now has 14 points from 10 games, and has won all six games away from home this season.
