Rajasthan Royals' (RR) new batting sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi's 35-ball ton helped the Riyan Parag-led side to register a dominating eight-wicket win against Gujarat Titans (GT) at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Suryavanshi hit 101 off 38 balls, including 11 sixes and seven fours, as he became the youngest ever in the history of the tournament to complete a century at the age of 14 years and 32 days.

With this win against GT, struggling RR keeps their hopes alive for the playoff race. After defeating GT, RR are currently on number eight in the points table.

While chasing a big target of 10 on a friendly wicket, Rajasthan Royals went past the winning line, making 212 for two in 15.5 overs. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored an unbeaten 40-ball 70 not out in the chase.

Earlier, After being asked to bat, GT were off to a good start as captain Shubman Gill and Sai Sudarshan stitched a 93-run partnership for the second wicket. Both batters managed to score 53 runs in the powerplay. Mahesh Teekshana got the first breakthrough for the RR, picking  Sudarshan's (39 runs in 30 balls) wicket. After Sudarshan's dismissal, Buttler slammed Wanindu Hasaranga for 24 runs in an over, slamming three maximums and a four. He played an unbeaten innings of 50 runs in 26 balls, including five fours and four sixes. Butler took Gujarat past 200 runs along with Washington Sundar (13) and Rahul Tewatia (9).
