Tushar Deshpande delivered a brilliant final over to help Rajasthan Royals beat Gujarat Titans by six runs in a thrilling IPL match on Saturday. With 11 runs needed in the last over, Deshpande kept things tight. Apart from one wide, he nailed his yorkers and gave away just four runs, sealing a close win for his team. This was Rajasthan’s second straight win, while Gujarat suffered their second loss in a row.
Jurel, Jaiswal Power Royals to 210
After being asked to bat first, Rajasthan Royals posted a strong total of 210 for 6. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a fluent 55 off 36 balls, while Dhruv Jurel played a key knock of 75 off 42 balls. Jurel mixed smart shot selection with attacking strokes, hitting boundaries as well as big sixes at the right time.
Earlier, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi gave the team a quick start with 31 off 18 balls. He and Jaiswal added 70 runs in just over six overs, putting Gujarat on the back foot early. Jurel later added another important partnership with Jaiswal, keeping the scoreboard moving at a good pace.

Sudharsan Shines, But GT Collapse Hurts
Chasing 211, Gujarat Titans got off to a solid start. Sai Sudharsan played a classy innings of 73 off 44 balls, hitting nine fours and three sixes. He shared a 78-run opening stand with debutant Kumar Kushagra, who scored 18. But once Sudharsan got out, Gujarat lost momentum quickly. From a strong position of 107 for 1, they slipped to 133 for 5, thanks to regular wickets.

Late Fightback Falls Short
With most main batters back in the pavilion, Kagiso Rabada (23 not out) and stand-in skipper Rashid Khan (24) tried to pull off a late comeback. They played some attacking shots and brought the equation down to 10 runs in the final over. But Deshpande’s excellent bowling denied them a win in the end.
