Nitish Kumar Reddy revealed a fascinating story during the Australia tour. During a moment in the locker room, Kohli asked Sarfaraz Khan about his shoe size, but since it didn’t match his own, he turned to Reddy with the same question. SRH star said that he wanted those shoes and Kohli gave it to him. The star all-rounder said that he smashed his maiden century while wearing them.
"Back in the locker room, he (Kohli) once asked Sarfaraz, 'Sarfu, what’s your shoe size?, and he said, '9' then he turned to me, and I thought, 'Oh my god, I have to guess this correctly' because even if they weren’t my size, I really wanted his shoes. I said, '10' and he gave them to me - In the next match, I wore those shoes and scored a hundred" said Reddy in Puma podcast.
Nitish Reddy is currently preparing for the Indian Premier League 2025 where he will be seen in action for SRH. The last edition's finalists SRH will start their IPL 2025 campaign against Rajasthan Royals on March 23.
