SRH vs DC Predicted Playing XI: Axar Patel to finally use his multi-crore weapon against former team, Cummins may drop star player
Delhi Capitals' captain Axar Patel reacts during the Indian Premier League (IPL) match against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on April 29, 2025.

Story Highlights:

SRH's bowling has been a major concern for them this season.

SRH are over-dependent on their big-hitters.

Delhi Capitals may look to use former SRH bowler T Natarajan.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are practically out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 playoffs and they can spoil Delhi Capitals' (DC) campaign. With the race of playoffs getting close, DC need a win to get themselves back on track. Meanwhile, Pat Cummins will look to experiment in home conditions.

SRH have lost seven out of 10 games. Their bowlers have struggled, especially Mohammed Shami. The veteran pacer has six wickets from nine games at an average of 56.16. It is likely he may warm the bench and SRH may bring in either Simarjeet Singh or the newly-picked left-arm spinner Harsh Dubey. They are likely to stick with Kamindu Mendis for the home game as well.

DC have not been at their best of late and often struggled in run chase. But, it is unlikely that they will look to make too many changes. They may look to unleash left-arm pacer T Natarjan against his former franchise in familiar territory. This will mean Mukesh Kumar warming the bench. Mukesh has nine wickets from 10 games at an average of 34.55. His economy rate is near 10 runs per over. The only injury concern for them is skipper Axar Patel but he may not look to skip the crucial game even if he is not at 100 per cent.

SRH vs DC Pitch report -

There has been a stark difference in pitches used in Hyderabad. If it's spin-friendly, Axar, Kuldeep Yadav and Vipraj Nigam can exploit the conditions. On the other hand, it will be a high-scoring contest if the quicker pitch is used for the DC encounter.
