Kohli finished unbeaten on 75 in the final and ended the season with 600 runs in 15 matches.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) capped off a memorable Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 season by defeating Gujarat Titans (GT) in the final and lifting their second consecutive title on Sunday, May 31.

The triumph made RCB only the third franchise in IPL history to win back-to-back championships after Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI). Under Rajat Patidar’s leadership, Bengaluru also became the fourth-most successful team in IPL history behind MI and CSK (five titles each) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), who have three trophies.

Among the architects of the historic campaign was Virat Kohli, who once again delivered on the biggest stage. The batting superstar remained unbeaten on 75 off 42 deliveries in the final and played a crucial role throughout the season.
