Following their seven-wicket loss to the Gujarat Titans, Lucknow Super Giants captain Rishabh Pant admitted that his side failed to post a competitive total at the Ekana Cricket Stadium. During the post-match presentation, Pant noted that while the team showed flashes of potential, they were ultimately unable to handle the pressure applied by the Titans' bowling attack. He estimated that a score in the range of 170 to 180 would have been more appropriate for the surface, but consistent wicket-fall prevented them from reaching that mark.

There were opportunities in the game: Rishabh Pant
Pant further lamented the missed opportunities that could have turned the tide in Lucknow's favor. He pointed out that while there were moments where the momentum could have shifted, the team simply couldn't grab those chances when they appeared.
"There were opportunities in the game. We just couldn't grab it enough," Pant said at the post-match presentation.
Rishabh Pant in no mood to hit panic button
Despite the recent setbacks, Pant stood firmly behind his batting order, reminding everyone that the season is still in its infancy. Pant dismissed any talk of panic, signaling his unwavering confidence in the squad's veterans. He stressed that with the wealth of experience available in the dugout, it is only a matter of time before his key players find their rhythm and start delivering the performances expected of them in the games ahead.
"See, definitely it's a great lineup. But the tournament has just started here, you know. We're not putting pressure on players because, especially the senior guys, they know what to do," he said.
"Yeah, there are times when you perform and you just can't. But at the same time, you know, the trust and belief in the camp is enough. And we know he's going to come soon enough. It's always positive," Pant signed off.
