He said that looking back at Indian cricket, many players who opened in ODIs were actually middle-order batters in Tests. In ODIs, he explained, bowlers usually don’t attack top-order batters aggressively early on; they mainly focus on keeping runs down in the first few overs.

BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia said that the Bangladesh Cricket Board’s (BCB) request to move their T20 World Cup matches out of India is not something the Indian board can decide. He added that the International Cricket Council (ICC) will make the final call on the matter.
