Hardik Pandya leads the list of players with the most runs scored in the second half of a T20I innings

Star India all-rounder Hardik Pandya certainly knows how to finish an inning or two with the bat. The 31-year-old, who generally comes out to bat during the second half of an T20 innings, is a known powerful hitter and also makes the most out of the death overs.

Majority of Pandya's runs for India in the shortest format have come in the second half of the innings. The all-rounder currently has 1812 runs under his name in T20Is, making him the fifth-highest run-getter for India in the format. The 31-year-old has contributed massively for the side in both the batting and bowling department when it comes to T20Is.

Interestingly, Pandya currently holds the record for the most runs scored after walking in to bat during the second half of a T20I innings. This once again proves his prowess in the final few overs of the innings and shows how important he is for the Men in Blue especially in the T20I set-up.

Meanwhile, Pandya has so far played 114 matches in the shortest format. Ever since making his T20I debut in 2016, Pandya has been a mainstay in the set-up and has contributed massively with both the bat and the ball. He also played a key role in India's T20 World Cup triumph in 2024.

Notably, Pandya has been picked in India's 15-member squad for Asia Cup 2025 and is likely to play a crucial role for the side in the continental tournament. It will be interesting to see how the 31-year-old performs in the competition as Suryakuamr Yadav & Co. eye a record ninth Asia Cup title in their history.
