T20 Most Expensive Spell: T20 being a fast-paced format can be unforgiving for bowlers at times as they get hit for fours and sixes around the park in batting-friendly conditions very often.
The T20I cricket at times does not leave much room for error for bowlers. Recently, England pacer Jofra Archer conceded 60 runs in four overs, his worst spell in the format. Ahead of the third T20I, here's a look at the most expensive spells in T20Is (for full-member nations) -
5. In 2023, South Africa pacer Sisanda Magala conceded 67 runs from four overs against West Indies as they posted 258/5. In Centurion, Johnson Charles scored 118. Magala is the only bowler in the list who ended up on the winning side. Quinton de Kock's century, Reeza Hendricks' fifty and cameos in slog overs helped South Africa chase down 259 with seven balls to spare.
