With the four-wicket haul, the 37-year-old took his wicket tally to 412 in international cricket and surpassed former England spinner Graeme Swann, becoming the Three Lions' highest wicket-taking spinner. Swann, who took a total of 410 scalps in 178 matches held the record for quite some time, but it has finally been broken now.
Rashid got the wickets of Brandon King, Shimron Hetmyer, Gudakesh Motie, and Alzarri Joseph in his economical spell. The spinner became the all-time highest wicket-taking English spinner after playing 294 international matches.
Rashid has so far played 19 Tests, picking up a total of 60 scalps with his best bowling figures being 5/49. In one-day cricket, the spinner has taken 221 wickets in 151 matches and finally, he has racked up 131 wickets in 121 matches in T20Is. He even has an impressive economy rate of 7.36 and is also the highest wicket-taker for England in T20Is in the shortest format.
Coming to the match, West Indies batter Keacy Carty played a magnificent knock of 103 runs from 105 deliveries and was supported well by King (59) and skipper Shai Hope (78). The trio's knocks carried the visitors over the 300-run mark.
However, West Indies would still be a little disappointed with the total as they were 205/2 at one stage and went on to lose their remaining eight wickets for just 103 runs. The England spinners dominated on the pitch at the Sophia Gardens in Cardiff as Saqib Mahmood finished with the figures of 3/37 in 9.4 overs.

The likes of Brydon Carse, Will Jacks and Jacob Bethell also picked up a wicket each as the hosts bowled out the visitors for a rather gettable total. If England go on to win this match then they will seal the series as they had also emerged victorious in the first ODI that was held in Birmingham.
