Legendary Sachin Tendulkar's son, Arjun Tendulkar, is expected to return to Goa. The Goa all-rounder will play against Nagaland in the Ranji Trophy plate group final. During the Vijay Hazare Trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Goa benched Arjun. In the Ranji season, however, he is their third-highest wicket-taker. Arjun has already taken 16 wickets in 4 games. In the final, he can surpass the 20-wicket threshold. Dimapur will host the Goa vs. Nagaland final from January 23 to 27. Arjun will be crucial to Goa's success.

Arjun joined Goa prior to the 2022/23 season. Before joining Goa, he was an experienced T20 cricket player. He hit a century against Rajasthan on his Ranji Trophy debut. Arjun has participated in 24 T20s, 18 List A games, and 17 First Class matches. In red-ball cricket, Arjun has taken 37 wickets, while in white-ball cricket, he has taken 52.

Mumbai Indians rope in Arjun again for IPL 2025

Arjun will return to action for the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the 2025 Indian Premier League following the plate group Ranji Trophy final. In the IPL 2025 mega-auction, the bowling all-rounder returned to the Mumbai-based franchise. In the first round, he was unsold. In the last few minutes of the mega-auction, MI placed a bid for Arjun.

In 2021, Arjun began playing for MI in the IPL. He returned to them in the IPL 2022 mega-auction for Rs 30 lakh. In 2023, Arjun made his eagerly anticipated IPL debut. In the IPL 2025, the 25-year-old hopes to have regular opportunities.

Rohit set to make Ranji return as well

Arjun made his IPL debut under Rohit Sharma's captaincy and now the Indian skipper is also set to make his Ranji Trophy return after 10 years. Rohit will play Mumbai's home game against Jammu and Kashmir. He will be part of the team along with Yashasvi Jaiswal. Ajinkya Rahane will be leading the Mumbai team. Rohit will open the innings with Yashasvi Jaiswal.
