BCCI has announced Team India's schedule for the upcoming Test series against West Indies and South Africa. India will first play a two-match Test series against West Indies.
India to host West Indies and South Africa later this year
They will then host South Africa for two-match Test outing followed by a three-match ODIs and five-match T20I series. Notably, Guwahati will host the India versus South Africa bilateral second Test on November, which will the first time any longest format match will happen in the venue. Men in Blue's outing against West Indies and South Africa was decided in the BCCI Apex Council Meeting which was conducted to discuss various agendas of Indian cricket.
Rohit Sharma's men will lock horns against West Indies on the first week of October. The first Test will be held in Mohali from October 2 to October 6. Meanwhile the second contest will be held in Kolkata's Eden Gardens from October 10 to October 14.
The Men in Blue will then host South Africa for a multi-format series starting from November, 2025. The first Test between India and South Africa will be played in New Delhi while the second match will take place in Guwahati. This is for the first time in the Indian cricket history that Guwahati will host the Test match from November 22 to November 26.
After that Indian senior men team will play three ODI's against South Africa at Ranchi, Raipur and Vizag respectively on November 30, December 3, and December 6. India will then head on for a five match T20I series against South Africa which will be played across Cuttack, Nagpur, Dharmsala, Lucknow, Ahmedabad respectively on December 9, 11, 14, 17, 19.
