The action-packed tour is scheduled to begin on July 4 with the limited-overs leg and will officially wrap up on July 23.
The selectors have shown immense faith in stability, appointing Yashbardhan Singh Chauhan as the captain for both the One-Day and Multi-Day formats. Serving as his deputy, Lakshya Raichandani has been named vice-captain for the entire tour. Meanwhile, Rahul Dravid's son Anvay Dravid has also been included in the One-Day squad.
Hailing from Chambal, a small town in Madhya Pradesh, Chauhan is an emerging batting powerhouse who first turned heads back in 2022. While playing for the Chambal Division in the Under-13 Inter-Divisional tournament for the AW Kanmadikar Trophy, he put up jaw-dropping numbers that instantly went viral in cricketing circles.
His staggering appetite for massive runs quickly caught the attention of Chandrakant Pandit, the heavyweight domestic coach who was leading the Madhya Pradesh senior state team at the time. Intrigued by the hype, Pandit personally visited the ground to scout the young phenom.
Playing right in front of the legendary coach, the 13-year-old Chauhan didn't flinch, putting on yet another masterclass before finally being dismissed for an incredible 391 runs. Even at such a tender age, his ability to construct monstrous innings signaled the arrival of a truly special, generational talent.
