England Cricket Board (ECB) on September 7 announced England Lions' 20-member squad featuring T20 regulars for a two-T20 series against Sri Lanka. Several players from the senior side will feature in the T20 series including Will Jacks, Jamie Overton, Tom Banton and others.
England have included young Caleb Falconer, Ben Mayes and Joe Moores for T20 experience. The young trio had featured in England's ICC Men's Under-19 World Cup 2027 final lineup against India which featured Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.

In addition, spinners Mason Crane and Tom Hartley along with pacer Luke Wood are part of the squad as well. Aneurin Donald, who recently got his maiden T20I call-up in the absence of an injured Phil Salt and Jacob Bethell, will feature in the T20I series.
The first T20 will be played on September 11 in Chelmsford. Then, the team will head to Beckenham for the second T20 on September 13.
For the two T20s, Jonathan Trott will be the head coach. Trott's coaching staff will include their national pace bowling lead Troy Cooley, Greame Swann, Ravi Bopara and Carl Hopkinson.
