Priyansh Arya is currently representing Outer Delhi Warriors in the ongoing Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2026 during the league's media day, the star opener had an exclusive interaction with Sports Tak where he expressed his admiration towards Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.

In an exclusive interview with Sports Tak, the star batter opened up on his admiration towards India's teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, as he revealed that he really enjoys his batting and noted how unique his style is.
"I really like Vaibhav's batting, he has a great bat flow and swing. Only a few batters like Yuvraj Singh and Abhishek Sharma have that kind of skill set," said Priyansh.
While opening up on the experience of playing under Shreyas Iyer's captaincy in the IPL while representing PBKS, the star left-handed opener revealed that he enjoyed a lot under India's T20I captain and learned so many things from him, especially self-belief. Interestingly, he admitted that he wants to play under Iyer's captaincy in the Indian T20I team.

How Priyansh Arya performed in IPL 2026?
In IPL 2026, Priyansh managed to deliver a decent individual campaign with the bat while playing for PBKS. In 14 games, Arya amassed a total of 364 runs at an average of 26.00 with a blistering strike rate of 211.62 throughout the season.
In the IPL 2026 edition, the left-handed batter managed to register two fifty-plus scores, with 93 off 37 balls against LSG being his best score.
How has Priyansh Arya performed in DPL 2026?
In the ongoing Delhi Premier League 2026, the star left-handed opener has endured a challenging individual campaign so far in the tournament. So far in six outings, Arya has managed to amass a total of 103 runs at an average 17.17 clocking a strike rate of 160.94. He recorded his best score of 46 in a league game against Purani Dilli 6 on August 10.
As of now, the Outer Delhi Warriors still have three group-stage games remaining in their account and it will be interesting to see if Priyansh Arya can finish this season on a high note.
