Pakistan’s speedster Haris Rauf faced trolling from a fan during The Hundred 2024 match against the London Spirit at the Lord’s Cricket Ground on Thursday. The match was played on August 1 and Haris was representing Welsh Fire. A fan in the stands hilariously mocked the pacer over Virat Kohli’s finesse of two sixes hit against him in the penultimate moments of the T20 World Cup 2022 match played between India and Pakistan.
A video went viral on X where Haris Rauf was seen fielding near the boundary line during a match in the Men’s Hundred tournament. A fan calls him and asks if remembers Virat Kohli’s MCG knock and the two sixes against him. Rauf was agitated by his taunt.
"Melbourne abhi bhi yaad aata hai? Virat ke 2 chakke (Do you still remember Melbourne? Virat's two sixes)," a random fan said.

Famous MCG 2022 Match
During the T20 World Cup 2022, Virat Kohli delivered a standout performance at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). When it mattered the most he hit two game-changing sixes off Rauf’s bowling in the 19th over, significantly impacting the outcome of the game. Haris is still being trolled time and again for the two sixes that came on his bowling 2 years ago. Haris who was a sensation that year surprised the batters through his sheer pace and saw his downfall after the innings. The right-arm pacer has been in and out of the National team due to his poor performance and high economy rates, his pace has also been read by batters around the world and he could hardly deceive them.
In the same match, Rauf dismissed Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav cheaply, but his efforts were overshadowed after The former Indian captain eventually finished unbeaten on 82 playing a miraculous clutch knock and rescuing the Men in Blue.
What next for Rauf?
Haris Rauf is set to be in action as Welsh Fire face off against Trent Rockets in a group stage match at Trent Bridge, Nottingham, on Saturday, August 3. The team, captained by Tom Abell, is currently fifth in the eight-team standings. They have won one match and lost two in The Men's Hundred 2024 so far.
