Great news for Rishabh Pant's LSG, young all-rounder picked in IPL 2025 mega auction smashes century in Vijay Hazare Trophy

Maharashtra opener Arshin Kulkarni who is part of Lucknow Super Giants smashed a century on List A debut during the Vijay Hazare Trophy quarterfinal against Punjab in Vadodara. Arshin smashed 107 runs in 137 balls in the Quarter Final 3. Arshin's ton helped Maharashtra to score 275 runs. 

Arshin Kulkarni made his IPL debut for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in 2024 against Mumbai Indians (MI) at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. He has played two IPL matches so far. LSG released the batting all-rounder before the mega auction was picked again by Lucknow in just 30 lakh.

Coming back to match, after being asked to bat, Maharashtra failed to get a good start as Arshdeep Singh picked up skipper Rututraj Gaikwad's wicket in the first over. After Gaikwad's wicket, Arshdeep picked up Siddhesh Veer's wicket who came to bat alongside Arshin. 

Apart from Arshin, Ankit Bawne and Nikhil Naik (wk) smashed 60 and 52 runs respectively. For Punjab, Arshdeep Singh was the pick of the bowlers picking three wickets conceding 56 runs in nine overs. Naman Dhir got two and skipper Abhishek Sharma picked one.
