Rohit and Virat recently made a comeback to the Indian T20I side during the series against Afghanistan.

Former India spinner and two-time World Cup winner, Harbhajan Singh claimed that the upcoming T20 World Cup would be the last chance for Indian cricket superstars Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli to win the glittering World Cup trophy. In an exclusive chat with the Sports Tak on the sidelines of ILT20, Harbhajan underlined the importance of having experienced players like Rohit and Virat around youngsters while also batting for the duo's return to India's squad in the shortest format of the game.

'Both Rohit and Virat are experienced and big-match players. It is important to have them in the team full of youngsters, who can learn a lot of things from the experience of Rohit and Virat. I think it is a good move to bring Rohit and Virat back into the T20I setup as both of them have a ton of cricket left in them," said Harbhajan.

"When it comes to the combination, one or two youngsters might miss out on the T20 World Cup squad. I think it will be the last chance for Rohit and Virat to win a World Cup trophy for India. I think it works better to have senior players in the team," the ex-India spinner added.

Talking about Rohit and Virat, the two right-handed batters recently made a comeback to the Indian T20I side during the three-match series against Afghanistan. Under Rohit's captaincy, the Men in Blue clean-swept Afghanistan and clinched the series by a margin of 3-0.

Talking about their production with the bat, the 'Hitman' was dismissed for consecutive ducks to start the series but the Indian skipper roared back with a thunderous century in the final match of the series. On the flip side, Virat missed the first match of the series and played a quick-fire cameo in the second T20I in Indore before getting dismissed for a golden duck in 3rd T20I in Bengaluru.
