Former India captain Virat Kohli is an idol for every cricket and the reason behind is popularity is none other than his contribution to the sport. The batting legend has represented India for 16 years so far. India's young wicketkeeper batter Dhruv Jurel who made his India debut in the Test series against England revealed that he wants to replicate what Kohli did in his career.
Jurel played three Test matches for India where he scored 190 runs with a highest score of 90. He played two T20Is during India's tour of Zimbabwe where he scored six runs. He said that he want to dominate in cricket just like Kohli.
"I always try to learn because he is a legend of cricket. So I think how he was made, what he did in the background. always curious to learn new things. So whenever I talked to him, I only talked about cricket and when you around him, you feel that aura that Virat Kohli is there. So that is a good thing that we feel that we have to do something that we also feel that people have come to ask, that there is aura. Because he has played for like 15 years for India and he has always dominated. So that thing is very inspiring. So I will try to bring that thing in" said Jurel in exclusive conversation with Sports Tak.

Jurel who made his international debut under Rohit Sharma's captaincy said that he is very chill when it comes to treating teammates.
"To be honest he is very chill. He will talk to you. He is not like you are a senior or junior. He always talks very casually. If you need any help just come over. I don't have any problem. He is normal. He makes you feel comfortable" added Jurel.
Jurel will now be seen playing for UP T20 league where he will lead Gorakhpur Lions. Their first match will take place on August 26.
