February was a month filled with exhilarating cricket performances, culminating in the nomination of three outstanding players for the ICC Player of the Month award. India's Yashasvi Jaiswal, New Zealand's Kane Williamson and Sri Lanka's Pathum Nissanka have been shortlisted for the award. Let's take a closer look at the achievements that put these stars in the running for this prestigious accolade.

1. Yashasvi Jaiswal (India)

Yashasvi Jaiswal has been a revelation in the Test series against England, demonstrating his batting prowess with scores of 209 and 214 in consecutive Tests. His performance in Rajkot was particularly noteworthy, where he equalled Wasim Akram's record for the most sixes in an innings with 12 maximums. With 655 runs in four matches and an average of 112, including 20 sixes across three Tests, Jaiswal's explosive batting has positioned him as a strong contender for February's Player of the Month.
