The Board of Control for Cricket in India is yet to decide India's take on travelling to Pakistan for the upcoming ICC event.

Amid reports of India’s refusal to travel to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025, it has been reported by Geo News Urdu that Pakistan has threatened to boycott the 2026 edition of the T20 World Cup, which will be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka, if India doesn’t travel to Pakistan next year.

However, BCCI vice president Rajiv Shukla said that the cricket board has not decided the team's fate in travelling to the neighbour nation for the marquee event. They will have to ask the government for the approval.

Sources say that Pakistan will not deviate from the position of holding all the Champions Trophy matches in Pakistan but will maintain the position of ‘Pakistan’s event in Pakistan.’
