However, the match belonged to Priya Mishra, who delivered a match-winning performance with a five-wicket haul, dismissing Australia A for a paltry 72 runs. Making an impressive debut on the tour, Priya dismantled Australia A's top order, removing key batters Maddy Darke and Tess Flintoff early on, leaving the home team reeling at 52 for 4 after 15 overs.
Priya Mishra Completes Demolition Job
Priya Mishra continued her destructive spell, dismissing the middle order with the wickets of Nicole Faltum, Kate Peterson, and Nicola Hancock. Australia A were bundled out for 72 runs in 22.1 overs, handing India A a much-needed victory. The tour concludes with a one-off unofficial Test match in Gold Coast, starting from August 22.
India A recover from early slump
India A found themselves in trouble early on, losing three wickets for 43 runs in the ninth over. However, a crucial 104-run partnership between Tejal and Raghvi steadied the ship. The duo, who have been consistent performers throughout the series, took the score to 147 before both fell in quick succession. Valuable contributions from Sajeevan Sajana and captain Minnu Mani helped India A surpass the 200-run mark. Australia A captain Tahlia McGrath employed a variety of bowling options, utilizing eight different bowlers throughout the match. All-rounder Charli Knott made a notable impact with her off-spin, claiming two wickets for 26 runs in her six overs.
