Rising stars of Indian women's cricket are getting a golden opportunity to test their skills against a strong Australian A team. A multi-format tour of Australia kicks off on August 7th, with Minnu Mani, a seasoned off-spinner, leading the charge as captain. The upcoming India A Women's tour to Australia features a well-rounded squad with a mix of talent. Young batting prodigy, Shweta Sehrawat, will serve as the vice-captain, adding a spark of youthful energy to the team. Several promising youngsters have earned their spots. Explosive batter Kiran Navgire, who caught everyone's eye in the recent Women's Premier League, joins the squad alongside the consistent Priya Punia, known for her reliable top-order batting.

The tour will also see a battle for the gloves. Both Uma Chetry and Shipra Giri will vie for the wicket-keeper position. The bowling attack is equally diverse, boasting variety and depth. This combination of experience and youth promises an exciting tour for Indian women's cricket.

The team selection isn't quite finalised yet. Shabnam Shakeel's spot depends on her recovering from any injuries. The India A Women will face off against their Australian counterparts in all three cricket formats. The action kicks off with a three-match T20 series at Allan Border Field in Brisbane, happening from August 7 to 11. Next up, they'll switch gears to the 50-over format with a three-match series held in Mackay from August 14 to 18. The tour wraps up with a four-day test match happening on the Gold Coast from August 22 to 25. This comprehensive schedule will be a true test of the team's versatility and adaptability.
