Hailing from India, Malhotra made a significant impact on the United States cricket scene after relocating. Through consistent performances in domestic cricket, he earned his place in the USA national team.
Jaskaran turned heads with six sixes in an over
Malhotra achieved a remarkable feat by becoming one of only four cricketers to hit six sixes in an over in international cricket. His most memorable innings came in an ODI against Papua New Guinea in Oman in 2021, where he scored a blistering unbeaten 173, including 16 sixes and four fours.
Despite his sensational innings against Papua New Guinea, Jaskaran Malhotra struggled to maintain his form. He managed to score only one half-century in his subsequent 11 One Day Internationals, leading to his exclusion from the team. His last ODI appearance was against Namibia in 2022.
Malhotra's T20I career also faced challenges. His final T20I match came against Papua New Guinea in 2022. He was notably absent from the USA squad for the 2024 T20 World Cup, which was held in the United States and the Caribbean.
