Wasim Jaffer picks Mayank Yadav as the dark horse for India against Australia.

Former India batter Wasim Jaffer reckoned that if Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami can play most of the matches in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024 then there are high chances that Rohit Sharma-led side will win the series for the third consecutive time. Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024 will be hosted by Australia and scheduled to take start from November 22.

Jaffer also picked Indian uncapped pacer Mayank Yadav by calling him India's dark horse for Rohit Sharma & Co. in the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024. Replying to a fan's query on India's chances for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy this year, Jaffer highlighted the importance of the availability of the pace trio of Bumrah-Shami and Siraj.

“If Bumrah, Shami and Siraj stay fit and are able to play most of the series, India have a great opportunity for a hat-trick down under. Arshdeep could bring the left arm option. And Mayank Yadav dark horse provided he's fit and available” posted Jaffer on 'X'.
