Gloucestershire then asserted dominance in their second turn at bat, declaring on 359/5 after 100 overs behind twin centuries from Miles Hammond and James Bracey. Set a challenging fourth-innings target of 319, Derbyshire crumpled for just 105 in 38.4 overs to concede a heavy 213-run defeat. Kishore spearheaded the final collapse, delivering a masterclass of control to claim 5/20 in 18 overs, 12 of which were maidens.
While Gloucestershire turn their attention to Lancashire for Tuesday’s fixture, the comprehensive victory wasn't enough to lift them off the basement of the eight-team Division Two standings, leaving them bottom with two wins from 11 outings. On an individual level, Kishore has enjoyed a strong start to his red-ball stint in England, bagging 13 wickets across three appearances at an economy rate of 2.67, following a brief Tamil Nadu Premier League campaign where he took six wickets in five matches while conceding 7.21 runs per over.
