India going to Pakistan is still doubtful.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has not left it up to Cricket's top governing body, the International Cricket Council (ICC) to reach out to BCCI and try to convince them to send the Indian cricket team to Pakistan for the upcoming edition of the Champions Trophy 2025, which is set to be hosted by them in the first quarter of next year. Recently, ICC passed the budget for the mega-tournament in the meeting held in Colombo. However, as per a PCB source, no discussion was done on the schedule and format of the event.

"The PCB now has done what was required of it as hosts of the Champions Trophy. It has submitted the draft schedule and format for the event and also submitted budget for the event. It is now up to the ICC how soon they circulate, discuss and finalize the schedule of the Champions Trophy. The PCB for its part in the draft schedule has suggested hosting all of India’s games in Lahore including a semi-final (if India qualifies) and final," a PCB insider told PTI.

As per the draft schedule submitted by PCB, all of India's games including a possible semi-final and final will be hosted in Lahore. The highly anticipated India vs Pakistan clash has been scheduled for March 1. The PCB source also revealed that PCB has already submitted all details as hosts of the Champions Trophy in its expression of interest document to ICC.

"The PCB for its part has given in writing to the ICC about the tax modalities, venue selections and clearance from its government for Indian team to be hosted in Pakistan for the mega event," he added.
