India's medium pacer Arundhati Reddy has been honored as the ICC Women’s Player of the Month for February 2026. It came on the heels of Arundhati's standout show during India’s T20I tour of Australia, where her disciplined seam bowling played a pivotal role in securing a historic 2-1 series victory for the visiting side.

Reddy’s impact was felt throughout the three-match series, where she emerged as the leading wicket-taker. Her consistency was highlighted by a career-best haul of 4/22, followed by steady contributions of 2/30 and 2/35. She concluded the tour with an impressive bowling average of 10.87 and maintained a solid economy rate of 7.25, proving to be a constant threat to the Australian batting lineup in their own backyard.

On the men’s side, Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan claimed the ICC Player of the Month title. Farhan was recognized for his extraordinary displays of batting during the T20 World Cup, where his contributions at the top of the order earned him top honors for the month.

"It's a real honour to be named ICC Player of the Month, and even more special knowing I was able to contribute to a T20I series win in Australia. Beating Australia on their home turf is never easy, which makes this award even more meaningful," Reddy said, as quoted by ICC.

"This series win has given our team a huge boost of confidence as we build towards the ICC Women's T20 World Cup in England and Wales this summer. We've got a well-balanced squad, and I believe we'll be a team to watch," she added.

Sahibzada Farhan adjudged Men's Player of the Month for February

Sahibzada Farhan secured the prestigious award by outshining several cricketing stalwarts, headlined by his record-breaking form during the T20 World Cup. He surpassed Virat Kohli’s long-standing record for the most runs scored in a single edition of the tournament. Furthermore, Farhan etched his name in the history books as the first player to ever record two centuries in a single World Cup campaign, achieved during dominant innings against Namibia and Sri Lanka.

The dynamic opener’s statistical output was nothing short of elite, as he amassed a total of 383 runs across seven T20I appearances. He maintained a remarkable average of 76.60 while scoring at a rapid strike rate of 160.25, providing Pakistan with explosive and consistent starts at the top of the order.
