The IPL 2024 mini-auction was full of surprises. While Travis Head and Gerald Coetzee were touted to get big bucks, it was Australia's World Cup 2023-winning captain Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins who created history. Cummins was roped in for Rs 20.50 crore by SRH whereas Starc went to KKR for Rs 24.75 crore.
On the other hand, Head and Coetzee were relatively bought at a much lower price than expected. Head went to SRH for RS 6.8 crore whereas MI got Coetzee for Rs 5 crore.
