Jammu and Kashmir has tightened their grip on their maiden Ranji Trophy title, reaching a dominating position with a score of 527 for 6 on the second day of the final against Karnataka at the KSCA Hubli Cricket Ground on Wednesday.

J&K, who won the toss and elected to bat on Day 1, had their strong position from 284/2, piling on runs through consistent contributions across the order. All thanks to half-centuries from captain Paras Dogra, who stepped up to rescue the innings for his side, wicketkeeper Kanhaiya Wadhawan, and Sahil Lotra.
