Railways pacer Himanshu Sangwan recounted a memorable interaction with Virat Kohli after their Ranji Trophy match against Delhi. Himanshu Sangwan revealed that Virat Kohli showered him with praise when he approached the star India batter to get his wicket-taking ball signed. Kohli's return to India's premier domestic first-class competition after more than 12 years had generated immense excitement. However, Sangwan cut short Kohli's stay on the crease and clean bowled him at a paltry score of 6 runs.

Kohli's presence drew a massive crowd to the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, eager to witness the India star in action. However, the cheerful atmosphere was quickly silenced when Sangwan bowled a brilliant delivery that sent Kohli's stumps cartwheeling.
Meanwhile, Himanshu posted a video on social media where Kohli can be seen signing the wicket-taking ball for the Railways pacer.
“God's plan really great full thankyou @virat.kohli sir,” Himanshu's caption read.
Earlier, Sangwan also revealed a chat he had with the former India captain, saying that the star batter complimented his bowling and wished him a successful future.
“When I gave him (Kohli) the ball to sign it, he asked ‘is this the same ball from which you got me out? Kya gend tha yaar maza aa gaya (what a beautiful delivery it was). Kaafi teekhe bowler ho (you are a good bowler). Keep working hard. Best wishes for your future’,” Sangwan told Indian Express.
Although Himanshu Sangwan's figures of 4/55 in the match ultimately proved inconsequential, as Delhi comprehensively defeated Railways by an innings and 19 runs, he achieved a moment that etched his name into the memory of Indian cricket fans. Dismissing Kohli in a Ranji Trophy game against Delhi on Friday made him a talk of the town in no time.
