Legends League Cricket launches LLC Ten10 to boost 'Fit India' campaign

Legends League Cricket (LLC) is excited to announce its participation in the 'Fit India' initiative, launched by the Government of India. LLC is organizing a substantial cricketing event, the LLC Ten10 League, which will feature 300 matches using hard tennis balls across ten cities in Uttar Pradesh. The event will last 80 days and involve 1,280 players, providing a grand scale platform for cricket enthusiasts to engage in the sport.

The league aims to promote a healthy lifestyle through cricket, a sport deeply cherished across the nation. It will enable cricket fans to play high-quality cricket and receive coaching and guidance from cricket legends like Gautam Gambhir, Harbhajan Singh, Chris Gayle, Irfan Pathan, Suresh Raina, Brett Lee, Mohammed Kaif, Robin Uthappa, and Shane Watson. These icons of the game will serve as mentors to the teams, offering their insights and encouraging a new generation of players.

"Legends League Cricket believes in giving back to society and is now a part of the “Fit India” initiative. Our goal is to inspire players of all ages and backgrounds to lead a healthier lifestyle through cricket. By connecting them with legendary mentors, we are creating an opportunity for skill development and fitness promotion that is both unique and impactful. The tournament will be huge opportunity for the fans to engage and have connections with their favourite legends. We will incorporate the best practices of cricket including anti-corruption unit in these games as well,"  Raman Raheja, Co-founder of LLC, said.

Designed to be inclusive, the LLC Ten10 League welcomes participants of all ages, emphasizing the development of cricketing skills, physical fitness, and sportsmanship. This new hyper-local tournament will be hosted in Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Allahabad, Lucknow, Kanpur, Noida, Ghaziabad, Agra, Aligarh, and Meerut, each featuring a team guided by a designated Legend Mentor.

The entire tournament will enjoy high visibility, being streamed on prominent sports OTT platforms and broadcast live on television. This exposure aims to showcase emerging talents on a global stage.

By aligning with the Fit India movement, LLC underscores its commitment to grassroots cricket promotion, focusing on nurturing future talents and reinforcing the national emphasis on health and fitness.
