With that performance in Sunrisers Leeds' final group fixture, Marsh etched his name into the history books as the first international cricketer, and just the second player overall, to breach the 400-run mark in a single season of the men's Hundred.

The only other batter to reach this milestone is England’s James Vince, who set the benchmark during the 2024 campaign. Vince accumulated a tournament-record 424 runs across 10 appearances while featuring for the Southern Brave.
Marsh found the fence five times and cleared it once enroute to his knock against Manchester Super Giants. That solitary maximum off spinner Noor Ahmad brought his 2026 T20 sixes tally to an impressive 94 across just 36 appearances.
Marsh notches 'maximum' record
With that hit, the Australian all-rounder equaled the national record for the most T20 sixes struck in a single calendar year—a benchmark previously set by Tim David in 2025, who needed 56 matches to hit the same number.

Marsh’s prolific year at the crease has spanned multiple franchise leagues and international duty, including stints with the Perth Scorchers in the 2025-26 Big Bash League, Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2026, Sunrisers Leeds in The Hundred, and the Australian national squad. It has been a year of mixed fortunes on the field: while Marsh captained the Scorchers to a BBL championship early in the year, his leadership with the national side saw Australia exit before the Super 8s at the 2026 T20 World Cup, and LSG finished bottom of the table in the IPL.
