Former India captain MS Dhoni is one of the most followed cricketers around the world and the reason behind his following is none other than his contribution to cricket. The wicketkeeper batter will turn 43 on July 7 and on the occasion of his birthday, fans made a 100 feet cutout in Vijayawada.

MS Dhoni who announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket on August 15 2020 was featured in the last edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) where he stepped down as the captain just before the opener clash of the tournament announcing Ruturaj Gaikwad as his successor.

Apart from Indian colours, India wicketkeeper batter captained IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) where he became the second most successful captain of the tournament, winning five (joint most) trophies in the history of the cash-rich league.
Dhoni has played 264 IPL matches in his career where he scored 5243 runs with a highest score of 84 not-out. He featured in 14 matches in the last edition of the tournament where he scored 161 runs with a strike rate of 220.55 and an average of 53.67.
Dhoni was recently spotted in Mumbai in the sangeet celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. He was recently spotted dancing with all-rounder Hardik Pandya.
