Ishan Kishan's emotional conversation with little fan goes viral

Story Highlights:

Ishan Kishan opened up to little fan about his Team India snub

India is slated to face South Africa in the first Test from November 14

During a recent conversation with a special fan, Indian cricketer Ishan Kishan shared a heartfelt moment and revealed some news about his upcoming schedule. Kishan, who will not be a part of India's two-match Test series against South Africa in November 2025, made the revelation after finishing a training session at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.

Kishan was approached by a fan in a wheelchair who was wearing an Indian jersey. The fan expressed his gratitude for Kishan's performances and wished him well, asking him to score runs for India in the first Test against South Africa. India is scheduled to face South Africa in the first Test from November 14 at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Kishan, however, gently informed the fan that he would not be playing in the match, as he is not included in the squad for the upcoming home series.

Mai team me nahi hoon, mujhe liya hi nahi hai (I am not in the team, I'm not selected).

While Ishan Kishan will not be part of the upcoming Test series, he has a notable history with the Indian team, having played in two Tests, 27 ODIs, and 32 T20I matches. In the recent Indian Premier League (IPL), he played for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), featuring in 14 games. During the season, he scored 354 runs with an average of 35.40 and a strike rate of 152.5, including one century and a half-century. The road ahead for Kishan appears challenging. India's squads across all three formats are currently well-stocked, and as of now, there doesn't seem to be a vacant spot for him.

Meanwhile, India and South Africa will play a multi-format series. They will first play a two-match Test series starting from November 14. They will then lock horns for a three-match ODI series starting from November 30. The series will conclude with five T20Is, which will kick off from December 9.
